To maximize protection of the engine’s contact surfaces, it is recommended to use X-Protect during the unit’s lifetime. The lubricant will not reverse existing corrosion.
Topping up with X-Protect
Topping up is simple. Add the content of the can to the engine sump and run for a few minutes to facilitate mixing.
Use a single 0.5 litre can of X-Protect Graphite Concentrate when the unit is first put into service and then with every subsequent engine oil change.
This 0.5 litre format is specifically designed for trailers with 12L oil capacity engines.
